Composite material is applied to a tooth and sculpted to an ideal shape to cover or replace the decayed area. It has a relatively lower cost.

Veneers are very thin layers of special y-shaped porcelain or plastic that can be permanently bonded to the front of the teeth with little or

create a great smile.

Crowns (Caps)
As we age, many find teeth that are not structural y sound. A crown, also known as a cap, is a tooth-shaped covering that is placed over
a tooth to protect and keep teeth that are badly decayed or fractured.
Patient Concerns / Why do I need crowns?• Protective cover for badly decayed teeth or fractured teeth Weak teeth that need to be protected due to root canal treatment Unpleasant natural appearance of teeth such as malformed, malpositioned or discolored teeth How are crowns made?Firstly, a thorough clinical examination is conducted with radiographs. The suitability for crowns is assessed and any preparatory work is **Our dentist will advise on appropriate material choices, treatment sequence and other concerns you have depending upon the strength requirements and aesthetic concerns of the tooth involved.
At the second appointment, the teeth to be crowned are prepared. This involves reduction of the tooth size usual y under local anesthesia fol owed by an impression or mould of the prepared tooth. This trimming of the tooth is required to create space for the crown to be fitted. The mould taken is sent to a laboratory where skil ed technicians will fabricate the crown. For the meantime, a temporary (provisional) crown is made and fitted onto the trimmed tooth.
At the third appointment, the temporary crown is removed and the tooth surfaces cleaned. The completed crown is tried on the tooth for fit, harmony with the bite and appearance. Final y, the crown is cemented on to the prepared tooth with dental cement.
Our dentist wil inform you on how to care for your teeth.

Instant orthodontics is a cosmetic dental procedure where porcelain veneers, crowns, or bonding are used artistical y to create the
il usion of straight teeth. It is cal ed instant orthodontics because in as little as two weeks, a patient can go from teeth that are crowded to a perfect smile.
Patient Concerns  Crooked teeth that require straightening but you don’t want to wait for several months to correct them A crooked smile Mild crowding of front teeth *The procedure of doing instant orthodontics involves reshaping and reducing your existing teeth to accommodate veneers, onlays, or crowns.
