The effectiveness of using self-help books as a means of
psychological therapy for people experiencing mild to moderate emotional and psychological difficulties – known as
Bibliotherapy – has been well established in clinical trials.
The Bibliotherapy book recommendation scheme is a
collaborative effort between the HSE & Cavan County Council's
Library Services. A list of high-quality self-help books has been

professionals have the Bibliotherapy list and can bring these
books to the attention of the patients who are likely to benefit
from their use. The list is available in your local Library and on

Did you know? Missing Them Already!
Cavan County Library Service is losing three valuable members of staff due to
retirement. While Eilish Flynn has already departed, both Brian Connolly, and
Brenda O’Reilly will sadly take their leave before the end of this month.
Brian, the patriarch of the Library Service, has worked with Cavan County Library
Service for 41 years, having first taken up employment in July 1971. Towards the
end of his career he discovered a natural talent for photography!
We wish himself, & his wife Mary a happy retirement.
Brenda has worked at Bailieborough Library for almost 11 years & has provided a
top class service to the local community. She will be missed by Library Borrowers
both young & old. She intends to head west to take up semi-permanent residence
in the beautiful Achill Island, where we hope that she will be very happy.
Eilish has worked for the Library Service since 1992, having first joined Cavan
County Council in 1986. Her expert typing skills will be sorely missed at Library
We wish all three long life, health, & happiness!

Can TADALAFIL TABLET be taken simultaneously with other medicines? As a general rule, always tell your doctor if you are taking or have recently taken any other medicine, even those not prescribed, because occasionally they might interact. This is particularly important if you are treated with nitrates as you should not take TADALAFIL if you are taking these medicines. Do not take TADALAFIL wi
