Key Responsibilities:

 Directed, monitored and coordinated sectional processes, evaluations and plans, to guarantee standard running conditions of Ethylene Glycol Plant and maximized profitability of the plant through efficient use of raw materials, machinery/ equipments and control of overhead costs.  Assumed responsibility for all process safety & environmental studies of the hydrocarbon plant. Monitored many/ different variables in the factory including temperatures, pressures, concentrations, flows and speed.  Inspected, tested, operated control valves used to control pressure, temperature, level and flow, ensured optimized operations, analyzed and solved day-to-day operational issues, in case of any equipment problem executed emergency stoppage till the problem is rectified.  Ensured the operational stability while handling dangerous chemicals such as Ammonia (NH3), Caustic Soda (NaOH), Ethylene Dichloride (EDC), FeSO4, Lithium Bromide (LiBr), Lithium Chromate and Ethylene Oxide in gas and liquid phases. Undertook measure to avoid blazes, explosions, out- flow of gas, mechanical damages, etc.  Monitored inventory of raw materials and spare parts, audited usage and accordingly authorizing orders to ensure continual production with minimal idle stock. Also maintained MSDS “Material Safety Data Sheet” leading to safe personnel, environment and properties.  Resolved all technical difficulties by participating in fire drill, attending engineers’ sessions about safety, environment, mechanical integrity and rectified ambiguities through application of trouble shooting tools.  Applied technical expertise in absorption, stripping, vacuum distillation and dehydration columns with high pressure and temperature using huge pumps and compressors of centrifugal force and positive displacement types.  Ascertained operational readiness of all safety and emergency equipment in the company by executing monthly EDUCATION
