Besides the application form dully filled in, the following documents should be attached to your application: photocopy of the applicant's national identity card or passport. Non EU Citizens: photocopy of the passport. A letter describing the motivations and goals of your participation in the Masters course. Please submit two letters of recommendation, assessing your ability to conduct graduate-level work and your potential for a successful academic or professional career. The letters of recommendation must be completed by faculty members, job supervisors, etc., who are most familiar with your professional and/or academic abilities and character. Referees are requested to complete these letters in English or, if written in another language, to attach an Attachment 4: English language proficiency certificates A copy of the TOEFL certificate (with a minimum score of 525 (paper-based) or 200 (computer-based)) or the IELTS-certificate (with a minimum score of 5.5) is required. Please note that the certificates must not be older than January 2010. If you cannot submit a proof of English language proficiency by 10 January, 2014, your application will still be considered. In this case you are urged to provide the proof as soon as possible, and no later than Applicants from English speaking countries (Antigua & Barbuda, Australia, The Bahamas, Barbados, Belize, English-speaking Canada, The Gambia, Ghana, Grenada, Guyana, Republic of Ireland, Jamaica, Kiribati, Liberia, Mauritius, Micronesia, New Zealand, Nigeria, Papua New Guinea, St. Kitts-Nevis, St. Lucia, St. Vincent, Sierra Leone, Solomon Islands, Trinidad & Tobago, United Kingdom, United States of America, Zambia or Zimbabwe) do not have to submit language certificates. If selected, their admission will be conditional on the receipt of the degree certificate by the MSc Secretariat before July 31, 2014 (European Commission grant holders) and 1 September 2014 (other applicants). Attachment 6: Translation of academic degree certificates A translation of the degree certificates, made by an officially recognised translator in English, but only in case the original documents are not written in English. Attachment 7: Copies of transcripts or other academic records Copies of all transcripts or other academic records that give proof of the higher education studies presented in Attachment 5 (i.e. bachelors, masters etc.) including credits and grades achieved in each single subject.
