Over the past three days the Jackson-Madison County Metro Narcotics Unit has served a series of search warrants on suspected drug sale locations. These search warrants have resulted in the arrest of seven persons. The search warrants have also led to the seizure of multiple types of drugs, a total of $5,907 and two handguns. 1145 Campbell Street On 08-22-12, the Jackson-Madison County Metro Narcotics Unit served a narcotics search warrant at 1145 Campbell Street in central Jackson where they encountered and arrested four people. Officers recovered amounts of Crack Cocaine, Powder Cocaine, Marijuana, Hydrocodone pills, Alprazolam pills and an assortment of prescription pills. $762 in U.S. currency which is believed to be the proceeds of drug sales was seized under the civil forfeiture laws of the Tennessee Drug Control Act. Marcus Andre Rhodes, age 33, of 1145 Campbell Street in Jackson was charged with Possession of Crack Cocaine and Possession of Marijuana. He was arraigned in Jackson City Court and has been released from custody. Leroy Alvonzo Coleman, age 50, of 1145 Campbell Street in Jackson was charged with Possession of a Legend Drug. He was arraigned in Jackson City Court and has been released from custody. Martel William Linear, age 18, of 1145 Campbell Street in Jackson was charged with Possession of a Schedule III Controlled Substance with Intent to Sell or Distribute and Possession of a Schedule IV Controlled Substance with Intent to Sell or Distribute. He was arraigned in Jackson City Court and is currently free after posting a $5,000 bond. James Alvin Anthony, age 32, of 188 Rochelle Road was charged with Possession of Crack Cocaine with Intent to Sell or Distribute, Possession of Cocaine with Intent to Sell or Distribute, Possession of Marijuana and Tampering with Evidence. He was arraigned in Jackson City Court and is currently being held at the Madison County Criminal Justice Complex in lieu of a $10,000 bond. 111 North Street On 08-23-12, the Jackson-Madison County Metro Narcotics Unit served a narcotics search warrant at 111 North Street in central Jackson where they encountered Shawn Robinson who lives there occasionally with her boyfriend. The search of the residence revealed Robinson’s purse which contained the following: five 40mg Oxycodone pills, six 10mg Oxycodone pills, one 30mg Oxycodone pill, twenty-six 10mg Hydrocodone pills, eighty-four 1mg Alprazolam pills, Twenty-two 5mg Zolpidem pills, six 60mg Morphine pills, twenty-seven 100mg Setraline pills, fourteen 10mg Ambien pills, fifteen 350mg Carisopropidol pills, four 37.5mg Phentermine pills and one 25mg Topiramate pill. Officers also found documentation of illegal drug sales $2,905 in U.S. currency and two handguns. The currency is believed to be the proceeds of drug sales and was seized under the civil forfeiture laws of the Tennessee Drug Control Act. Shawn Levern Robinson, age 44, of 202 North Kentucky Street in Jackson was arrested and charged with Possession of a Schedule II Controlled Substance with Intent to Sell or Distribute, Possession of a Schedule III Controlled Substance with Intent to Sell or Distribute, Possession of a Schedule IV Controlled Substance with Intent to Sell or Distribute and Possession of a Firearm in Commission of a Dangerous Felony. She was arraigned in Jackson City Court and has been released from custody. 500 East Main Street On 08-24-12, the Jackson-Madison County Metro Narcotics Unit served a narcotics search warrant at “Master Kutts” barber shop located at 500 East Main Street in downtown Jackson. Officers found several employees and customers present when the warrant was served, all of which were temporarily detained. One of the employees, Donald Duckworth, was present at his work station where officers later discovered several Crack Cocaine rocks packaged in plastic along with powder Cocaine residue, 11 Hydrocodone pills and $2,240 in U.S. currency. The currency is believed to be the proceeds of drug sales and was seized under the civil forfeiture laws of the Tennessee Drug Control Act. Donald Duckworth and Spencer Delk were arrested and transported to the Madison County Criminal Justice Complex. All other persons present were released at the scene. Donald Wayne Duckworth, age 42, of 1216 Hess Street in Brownsville, TN was charged with Possession of Crack Cocaine with Intent to Sell or Distribute, Possession of Cocaine and Possession of a Schedule III Controlled Substance with Intent to Sell or Distribute. He awaits arraignment in Jackson City Court. Spencer Delk, age 36, of 788 North McLemore Street in Brownsville, TN was arrested on an outstanding arrest warrant out of Jackson City Court for Theft of Property.
