District Executives Greater Town Executives Area Executives Cross – Country Organizers INFORMATION REGARDING - CROSS COUNTRY LEAGUE 2010 FOR HIGH SCHOOLS (FINAL DOCUMENT) GENERAL:
All towns (High Schools) in D17-DISTRICT will run together in one league (Dayeton,Benoni,Tembisa,Kempton Park,Edenvale , Primrose, Bedfordview)
A participation fee of R150,00 will be asked for each school – It will be used for the final Championships and to cover cost during the league. It will be paid to H/S Zahndre Oosthuizen (Birchleigh) 011 – 972 5415 COMPETITION RULES:
ID’s – All documentation must be handed in at the 4th league Tuesday 10 August 2010 at Marna Niewoudt (HS Goudrif): Photo in the top left corner with the School stamp over the photo, signed by the principal. ID must be certified.
Only Bona Fida Students from a school are allowed in the school league Team competition but can participate in the league (Special notice have to be handed in if primary athlete wants to run with a specific high school in general but may not count in league fot a team )
Running in the wrong age group will not be taken in account for team selection but automatic disqualification will apply.
Teams for Greater Kempton Park and Greater Benoni will be chosen after 4 leagues and will be participating at the D17 Championships (But all will participate in the final ) A – Team 6 and B –Team 6 (Greater Town Teams will be announced at league 5)
Age Groups as set by SA Schools National (Can differ in league) but final will take place as set by the SA Schools Sport Association. Best 4leagues count for D17 -Team Competition Final on Monday 23 August 2010 - HS Jeugland(Mr. Willie Engelbrecht)
League will be on a prescribe program (Schools must bring their own stickers – if any mistake is on the sticker it will be the athlete’s own responsibility)

Every athlete needs a sticker to participate at each league (Schools provide your own) Best 4 leagues will be taken into account for the trophy for the Best Junior Girls-team, Best Junior Boys-team, Best Senior Girls-team, Best Senior Boys-team
