All entry forms to be completed and handed to the Secretary of the section,
Miss Morfudd Lewis, 6 Y Gorlan, Llanilar (07791839989 / [email protected]) with the entry fee of 50p per exhibit on or before Monday 5th August 2013, or can be left with correct entry fee in a sealed envelope at Llanilar or Llanfarian Shop. Entry forms should clearly state whether member of YFC, Llanilar WI, Merched Y Wawr Bro Ilar or Members of Llanilar Senior Citizens Club/Elderly in Residential Home. Garden competition entries to be in by 6th July 2013 and judging will take place for gardens in mid-July
Exhibitors are not allowed more than two entries in each class.
Only exhibitors are allowed within the Marquee when entries are being set up.
Exhibits should be staged between 9am - 10.30am. Judging will begin at 11am prompt.
Exhibitors must place under each exhibit a card with his/her name and address.
All cards will be supplied by stewards. No other cards will be permitted.
Exhibits must not be removed before the end of the presentation of prizes.
Prize money must be collected on day of Show – any prize money left over will be taken as a donation to Show funds.
While the stewards will do their best to supervise, no responsibility is taken for loss or damage to exhibits.
Flowers are to be exhibited in vases, except where otherwise specified.
10. All exhibits must be the property of and grown by the exhibitor.
In cases of doubt, the committee may visit the gardens.
11. Only stewards are allowed in the tent during judging. 12. Exhibitors paying £10 or more in entry fees in the Horticultural and Industrial
Sections will receive a complimentary ticket.
13. Judges should award First, Second and Third prizes in each Class unless the
exhibit is not in accordance with the schedule.
14. The present holders of cups etc. should return them to the Secretary one week

Line a 2lb loaf tin. Place the milk, butter, sugar and fruit in a saucepan, stir and bring the mixture up to simmering point. Simmer for 3 minutes. When the mixture is cool, add the eggs and flour. Mix the ingredients thoroughly, then pour the mixture into the prepared tin and bake for 1¼ - 1½ hours at 150°C, fan oven 130°C, Gas 2.
Allow to cool in the tin for 10 minutes before turning out on a wire rack.
